The Penny Dreadful Story Hour is a weekly (sometimes more) show created and narrated by Finn J.D. John. It puts you in the character of a Victorian-era London street urchin looking forward to the cheap rags called Penny Dreadfuls. Originally starting with several chapters of Sweeny Todd, the Barber of Fleet Street in each episode, the show soon shifts to add 4 other stories: Varney the Vampyre, Black Bess, Spring Heel'd Jack, and The Black Band. Each episode now showcases one chapter of each story a week, with an occasional bonus episode thrown in on Tuesdays.
