The Penny Dreadful Variety Hour is a weekly (sometimes more) show created and narrated by Finn J.D. John. It puts you in the character of a Victorian-era London street urchin looking forward to the cheap rags called Penny Dreadfuls. Originally starting with several chapters of Sweeny Todd, the Barber of Fleet Street in each episode, the show soon shifts to a variety of new Dreadfuls, including Varney the Vampyre, Black Bess, Spring Heel’d Jack, The Black Band and more!
